The Australian Defence Pressure is on standby to assist Australians stranded in New Caledonia, amid rising unrest and riots within the French-ruled territory.

Six folks have died following the French authorities’s resolution to permit individuals who have lived on the South Pacific island for at the least 10 years to vote in provincial elections.
