A flight attendant for TUI Airways within the UK is sharing an “aeroplane hack” for travellers seeking to be extra snug within the aisle seat.
“Are you sitting on the aisle seat questioning why your armrest doesn’t go up?” Charlie Silver asks as she tries to drag up the aisle armrest to no avail.
“Properly, right here you go. Right here’s just a little hack for you. Press this little hidden button, and voila! Your armrest will transfer freely up and down.”
Silver touches a button on the underside of the armrest close to the hinge in her im-press-ive 13-second TikTok, which has taken off with 483,000 views because it was posted final week.
The Submit reached out to Ms Silver for remark.
TikTokers praised her for the uplifting tip.
“By no means knew this sport changer,” one gushed.
“Thanks sooo a lot. I used to be on a TUI flight preventing with the arm relaxation,” one other shared.
“It’s like this on most airways,” Ms Silver replied with a blue coronary heart.
“Why would that possibility be hidden although?” a 3rd commenter questioned.
“It’s not. It’s only a button that individuals don’t actually find out about,” Ms Silver responded.
