Canada continued its sturdy World Cup ski cross season on Friday in Idre Fjäll, Sweden.
Brittany Phelan of Mont-Tremblant, Que., gained gold and India Sherret of Cranbrook, B.C. earned silver within the ladies’s huge remaining, whereas Reece Howden of Cultus Lake, B.C. snagged bronze on the boys’s facet.
With only one race for each the ladies and men remaining within the season — scheduled for Saturday again in Idre Fjäll — it’s Canada’s Marielle Thompson who leads the Crystal Globe race with a 67-point edge over France’s Marielle Berger Sabbatel. Phelan is the one different competitor inside hanging distance of Thompson, sitting 103 factors behind in third place.
