A mild wave of freshly launched yellow-spotted turtles surged again right into a river in Peru’s Amazon area with adults and kids trying on, and in some instances serving to herd stragglers again on track. This was a part of a venture between the private and non-private sectors inside the Maynas province of Peru to assist repopulate the river and protect the tiny turtles, whose species has been categorized as weak.
